We were so excited all prepared for Halloween when Sam got sick and yes again we ended up in the hospital. So unfortunately no Halloween pics for us yet, we may still dress everyone up and get some.
Sorry but this blog is more of a journal because some day I am going to turn these into books for her.
This instance brought back memories of two years ago when she was born and we brought her home from the NICU on Halloween. This time we didn't get out until Nov 1st.
All are doing better and getting healthier every day. It is just a simple a lesson in remembering your priorities and what is most important in life.
I put up a quote on my wall only a week before that said "today's test is tomorrows testimony" Man how that kept coming into my mind as we were going through all these trials. There is nothing as helpless as watching your child so sick and having continuous seizures and nothing you can do but hold the exauhsted body. Some day I hope to know the reason why we have to continue to have this expereince as it is both frightening and exhausting to all around. But I know there is something we are supposed to learn here from it.
The thing was reminded about this time was how precious each minute with them awake and healthy is. Love every moment and cherish them.
We knew she loved nuggets but didn't realize on a sick stomach that a little one can eat 10 with in 5 hrs. Also, oreo cookies are breakfast of a champion little girl who fought so hard through all these tough few days.
Here are some cute videos and pics on a brighter note.

Oh man! That is no fun being sick. Especially sick enough to be in the hospital. How scary. :( Hopefully she will grow out of these seizures soon.
So sorry to hear she was sick again Stacie! I'm not sure if I missed this, but do you guys know what's causing the seizures and sickness?
My best friend Sarah's little girl, Bella, is in the hospital right now from complications from H1N1. She was sick for a week, then was getting better, then spiked a 104 degree fever, got pneumonia and had to have surgery to remove fluid from her lungs on Friday. She's doing much better now, but I have been worried and scared for their family all weekend...I'm so sorry to hear you guys are having these trials too. I will remember to also keep you in my prayers. P.S. I get to have ear surgery again this month! Yeah! Ha ha, that one's my trial. :) P.S. Take a look at my blog to see some fun Nu Skin Halloween photos from this year. Love ya!
I feel so sorry for all of you guys going through this. Its very hard to watch your kids suffer.
Glad that Sam is doing better.
We will keep you in our prayers.
love you,
tam
