Sam's new talents
Sam is loving that she can sit on her own in the tub now. She is splashing and loving that she can drum her hands on everything.
She is starting to say her consonants really well now.

OUR MAYFEST TRIP
On Saturday afternoon we decided to into downtown Tulsa to the Mayfest that they hold each year. It is a couple of blocks downtown where they have local artists and musicians come and share their talents. There is also lots of good food. I had my first funnel cake of the year!!!! Yahoo!!
Sam's first bus ride
Man it is bright and sunny.
Just chillin' in my stroller!
It was warm so dad took Sam to the fountain to cool off.
I spy with my own eye.
We decided to go to Olive Garden while we were still in Tulsa and Sam started blowing bubbles, so here are some pictures, but it was best captured in the video.
Some other random photos and video.
The way I like to sit now. On dads head playing with his hair.
Look how good I can sit up now. Sorry about it being sideways. Thanks Grandma Gardner for my toys, I love them!

Tribute to the Tulsa Zoo IV
The Lion is ferocious!
The Snow Leopard actually is real. In all the years Grant has gone he has never seen this one, until NOW!!!!
Parrot in one of our favorite places in the zoo.... It is a tropical jungle and there are so many cool animals here. This is where the dart frogs live too.
Jaguar thought it was going to get Sam for lunch. It kept pacing back and forth and all around while Grant held her next to the window.
It was cool enough for the Polar Bear to even be up and happy.
Look at the paw on that bear.
Petting area of the zoo.
Sam was trying to pose like the statues.
Color just isn't justified here.
Kangaroo was alive and hoppin' today.
Feather Fest is a new exhibit that the Zoo is doing this year. It was really cool to go inside with the birds, although I am a scardy cat everyone else enjoyed it as you see here. More pictures below:
Grandma Gardner and Sam getting ready to go into feather fest.
Grant feeding the birds.

Tribute to the Tulsa Zoo
The Giraffes loved Sam's hat and came to visit.
Dad and Sam by her cousins the CHIMPS... for you aunt Allie!
The Kangaroo does exist at Tulsa Zoo. We were privileged to see a lot of animals because we went in the morning right after feeding time and they were all up and moving around. Plus it was a little cooler in the morning so I think that helped things too.
Grants Tombstone. ha ha
These are the dangerous dart frogs and they have quite a few of them in the Jungle building. They are fun to watch, but be careful...you don't want one jumping in your purse. They are very poisonous.
I don't think I want to be chased by one of these ever!!!
And the bear actually moved.

Some Random Photos

My first time eating prunes.
It is too dang hot in OK with blankets mom!
My first braid!
My six month appointment at the Dr.
Welcome to Green Country. This is along the highway on our way home we live two more exits up. I love the pretty flowers and just how green it really is.
Sam in her high chair. This represents her personality so well, I think.
First time holding the sippy all by herself.
Walked in and this is how I found her sleeping one bright afternoon. I guess she didn't like the light.
Sorry don't know how to get this to stay rotated, I fixed it and saved it and now it ended back up this way. Anyway, here is her first time standing by herself against the arm of the couch and her first time in shorts. Look at those SEXY legs!

Husband Tag!
I know this really has nothing to do with Sam, but I was tagged so here it is.
1. What is his name? Grant Michael Gardner (Grunty)
2. Who eats more? He does now for sure, because of our diet he gets more calories....Unfair, but that is what happens when you are short
3. Who said I love you first? He did. 3 days after our first date....I just looked at him and said thats nice.
4. Who is taller? He sure is
5. Who is smarter? I would say it depends on subject, but overall he probably is
6. Who is more sensitive? It's a toss up
7.Who does the laundry? I usually wash more, but he probably folds more. But we are pretty equal in it.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Well, if you're sitting on the bed, I do. If you're looking at the bed, Grant does.
9. Who pays the bills? We both do. I do medical bills etc. and he does all our other bills and financing.
10. Who cooks more? I usually get it started, but he usually finishes it. We like to both help in the kitchen, but clean up is usually me. I like to do a lot more of the baking though.
11. What meals do you cook together? We cook together a lot. But mostly dinner is what is cooked together.
12. Who is more stubborn? Depends, but I would say he is. Sometimes I say are you just wanting to fight?
13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Most of the time I am.
14. Who is more clean? Definitely me! I have an obsession with vacuuming. He likes to do a whirlwind clean, I think doing a little everyday is better. And I like to pick up as I go. He likes to pile things.
15. Who has more siblings? He does by 1
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Pretty equal I would say.
17. What do you like to do together? Everything. Play catch, watch movies, play games, go four wheeling, play with Sam, go camping, Go vacationing, you name it.
18. Who eats more sweets?Probably pretty even
19. Guilty pleasures?Braums Ice Cream or going to a ball game or flying somewhere to visit friends and family
20. How did you meet?At a BBQ at my house in Orem.
21. Who kissed who first? This we will have to find out in Heaven, but I would say he kissed me and he would say I kissed him.
22. Who proposed? Grant did, I guess this is where you would say it first happened. After meeting his family we were at the park talking and he said so how do you feel about taking the Gardner last name. I just sat shocked, we had really only been dating 3 weeks or less and I said ummm I thought you were taking Arthur. (And he says I was the pushy one) Then he gave me the ring I designed officially when we were taking our engagement photos and the photographer caught it all.
23. His best features? Eyes, brains, strong massaging hands.
24. What is his greatest quality? His testimony and the way he treats women
25. Tag? Anyone who blogs and has seen this

Last few Weeks
Well we decided to take a trip to Utah and Surprise Grandma and Grandpa. Aunt Tricia picked us up at the airport after having to push the trip out one week because of American grounding flights. We called Grandpa and this is the conversation:
Me "what are you doing?"
Him "Working."
Me "Where are you located?"
Him "Why?"
Me "Cause Sammie and I want to come see you."
Him "Tammy?"
Me "No Sammie"
Him "800 S. etc."
(If any of you know my dad this is exactly it, one word answers) We showed up and were going to just go to lunch but his boss said no take the rest of the day after he has only been at this new job a month. Yeah Brahma! Thanks for letting us be with Grandpa
We then drove to Provo. Trey and Sammie have the same car seat so Aunt Tricia took Sammie in with Treys blanket into Mom's work and said Mom can you watch Trey while I go to the bathroom.
Mom opens the blanket and says "Tricia, uh.... whose baby is this?"
Tricia, "Mom it is Sammie."
Tears....Mom "I know."
Then Dad and I and Trey come in to join the party, unbeknownst to us that the whole office is going through CPR class in the Lobby and all the Dr.'s and aids are working on each other practicing CPR as dummies. But mom packed up and joined us for the day.
Tricia took Sammie into my parents home and Chloe said Sammie (because she is now covered with her own blanket) and Chris said try again it is Trey. Tricia removed the blanket and sure enough it was Sammie. What a smarty pants Chloe is to remember Sammies Blanket and realize which kid it was before even looking under it.
Linds & Sammie (who loves NY more?)
Clara & Lyman & Sammie & Trey (whoo Weedie)
Linds, Sammie, Clara, & Trey
Sorry we didn't get pictures with everyone, but we got pictures of the first meeting of Trey and Sammie...also my first meeting.
This is what Sammie and I walked into Saturday night when we got home around 10:30 after stopping for dinner at Chilis on our way home.
BTW, Before we left we hit the Dr. for Sam's 6 month appointment. She weighs 14.14 lbs. and is now 25 + inches long.
Hope you enjoyed! As you can see we had a great time.
