Flu, what?

The flu hit our house hard this week. Here is pictures of Little Mantha during her first illness.
Here I am catching some rays with dad cause it will make us feel better.

Straining cause I know I will feel better if I could just, well you know.

Geting so BIG

Here is her second try at eating cereal. I think we may have gotten at least a drop down the throat.

Wait is that a smile?.......

I guess not, does that mean you don't like it? At least it isn't screaming yet.

Did you get any in your belly?

I am so big sitting on the couch all by myself.

My Crazy Hair

I love to take pictures of Sam's crazy "Monkey" hair.

After my bath, sorry about the nudity!

My curls are getting so long

Did someone say something about curls????
Where did they go?

Start of my Halloween costume, a peacock.

Now I just need the costume, the hair is perfect!

Prisoner

Mom makes sure I stay in bed by chaining me in. ha ha

I found her this way when I went in to get her up from her nap.She turned this prison cell of a tote (while I was unpacking) into her recliner; I am not sure she could have gotten any more comfortable.

Happy Easter

We wanted to show everyone our little Easter Egg!!
And here are her "Patty Arm's" (for you Grandma Arthur)
And lastly getting ready to go to church (glasses from Granny Harfur)
We decided we would let the Grandma's do Easter this year and without letting them know this they both came through!!! Thanks Grandma's!!!

With the Animals is Where We Belong

The Jaguar thought Sam was going to be his lunch or appetizer.

Here she thought she had to be out of the stroller so we carried her and when we went outside she would squint so I put my sunglasses on her.
And on our way out we stopped by to see the elephants.

A Few More Firsts

This past Wed., March 5th, was a big day for us, but especially Sam. She rolled over today, had a cousin come into the world after 42 hours of labor and stayed home while mom went to mutual.

Here is a video of me rolling over

Here is a picture of baby Trey Darling with his Dad.

Do we look like cousins?

(top is Trey and right is Sam)
What is up with our family and past due babies ending up in the NICU. Thank heavens for these fabulous Dr.'s and Nurses who take such great care of children! Both were admitted for different reasons, but we have to be so grateful for the state they are in when they entered you see these one and two pound babies that end up being there for months and you appreciate that you will only have to see your baby there for a few days or weeks.

And unfortunately I didn't get a picture of her with dad, but when I came home he had her sitting in his lap giving her a talking to. I guess she was holding grudges toward him and wouldn't eat because he made her do belly time. We have had to have this chat a few times this week that we all have to do things we don't necessarily like, but that are good for us.

Giggles

I guess it is time to share this, she has been giggling since Jan, I just finally got it off of the camera. Hope you enjoy. This is just a recent one where she is giggling so hard.

And then this is what it turns into

Bad Hair Day

Sometimes we all have bad hair days. For Sam it looks like Monkey hair is just a part of her life
